Dear readers,
Thank you for following our work during the past five months. After producing more than 60 reports and 200 daily news articles in Dari and English, and evaluating our journey thus far, we are excited to announce that we are improving how we cover events in Afghanistan.
To concentrate our resources where they can be most effective, we are focusing on in-depth reporting of human rights violations in Afghanistan, especially those affecting women, the LGBTQ community, and the environment. While Zan Times will continue to publish exclusive investigative reports, as well as first-hand narratives, interviews, and opinions, we will no longer provide daily news coverage.
Also for 2023, we will focus on training our colleagues. We look forward to sharing plans for our growth and expansion in the coming months.
